What works for one person might not work for another.

After it has been drained, wash your hands as well as the area around the pimple.

If there appears to be more than one pimple in a cluster, then resist squeezing because they might burst internally and lead to an even larger outbreak. When it comes to blackheads, they can typically be squeezed with little to no adverse effects. Squeeze gently, and then one again wash your hands and the area around the blackhead.

Some other tips on how to get rid of acne include the following…
Try changing your soap. If you have recently noticed breakouts with your new soap then you might be having an allergic reaction to it. Try something for sensitive skin. Or, if it’s not a new soap, then try using a soap that contains salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
Every night before you go to bed, wash your face. However, if you wear makeup then you might also want to invest in an oil-free makeup remover, too. Regular facial soap isn’t always good at removing makeup, which can clog pores. In addition, using an astringent or toner can help clean deep into your pores where bacteria and oil can get trapped.
If you have recently started a new medication, such as birth control pills, and have noticed more outbreaks then talk to your doctor. There are certain types of medications that can cause acne as a side effect. Some birth control pills, however, can actually control acne.
